Thriving in warm and dry environments, these fungi grow rapidly in clusters that help retain ambient humidity and preserve vital moisture, ensuring survival in challenging conditions.

Lepiota papilla, named for its resemblance to nipples, is a mushroom with a fascinating reputation. Known for its strong psychoactive effects and mystical ability to preserve youth, it has captured imaginations for centuries. However, this extraordinary power comes at a price—its effects are unpredictable and risky. Would you take the chance to experience its magic, knowing it might change you forever ?

At first glance, Mycena lux hirsutus appears delicate and beautiful, but it’s anything but harmless. Covered in hundreds of tiny, deadly spikes, this unique radiotrophic mushroom absorbs energy from radioactive particles and thrives in inhospitable, abandoned environments where almost nothing else can survive.

Looking closely at Paeonia radiosa, its movements and details are almost hypnotic. Designed to captivate nearby insects, its central stems provide a safe refuge, much like coral shelters fish. Insects collect nectar and pollen from the outer rim and retreat to the protective middle stems if danger arises—a remarkable example of nature’s collaborative brilliance and the delicate balance between species.

Paeonia radiosa takes us to a mysterious place, hidden within the earth’s secret territories, where life and color thrive in unexpected ways. This infinite loop invites us to lose ourselves in its eternal flow, evoking calm and serenity. TV Night is a dreamy representation of my perception of the world. It reflects a daily routine—a choice we make every day. Even though the outside world is full of beauty and wonder, we find ourselves confined to the comfort of our homes, experiencing that same outside world through a TV screen. It’s a curious and paradoxical behavior that disconnects us from reality while simultaneously deepening our connection to what’s happening beyond our walls.

San Lorenzo's layered history of transformation mirrors the cats' flight, symbolizing transcendence and renewal.

"Nature's Computing Power" is inspired by the spectacle of ocean waves crashing over black sand beaches, seen duiring the trip to Hawaii's Big Island. Merging the complex technology of GPU/CPU computing with nature's awe-inspiring fluid dynamics, the artist captures and reimagines the raw power of the sea. Utilising drone footage as a source emitter for a particle rendering system, this work is a tribute to nature's supremacy over even the most advanced human-made technology.

Seasonal Proximities is an immersive new media art installation created by Cao Yuxi Studio in 2021. It started with an Yuxi’s obsession over impressionism in the digital concept area. He thinks that humans, as constantly evolving creatures, have entered the uncharted area where the main visual scope is pixel-based. Each object comes with a mutated digital version, imprinted in and by our mind. Yuxi defines this shifting perception of the real or natural world is a new impressionism concept. He creates dynamic paintings that can prompt his audience to re-consider this new digital art world paradigm we are living in.

Face of UniverseI found this flower in a residential area while I wasin Kosice, Slovakia, as part of the CIKE (Creative Industrie Kosice)and EMAP (European Media Art Platform) residency program. The floweris transformed by A.I. into a 100-year-old painting technique, and theflower's cells fall to the earth in entropy. Through this process, theplant becomes a symbol in the history of ecosystems, civilizations,and technology.
