  1. Janie Fitzgerald is an American photographer and visual artist celebrated for her pioneering work in immersive imaging and photographic VR. With an innovative approach across a variety of formats, she explores the natural world and the ephemeral nature of life, expressing these themes with depth and creativity. 


  2. During one of the earliest breakthroughs in VR photographic technology, Apple selected Janie Fitzgerald to create showcase media for the launch of QuickTimeVR. Fitzgerald became a pioneer in 360º immersive imaging, quickly gaining recognition for her contributions that helped shape the medium. 


  3. As an accomplished architecture photographer, she has photographed several of the world’s most iconic architectural and cultural landmarks in stunning 360º format, including UNESCO World Heritage sites like the Acropolis of Athens, the Tower of London, and Chichen Itzá, along with legendary landmarks like Carnegie Hall in New York City. 


  4. In 2021, Fitzgerald began integrating AI into her extensive background in photography and technology, developing a distinctive style. For her early AI project, Flora Solaris, she created a unique dataset of 3,000 macro photographs of flowers, which she solarized and processed in experimental styles. 


  5. Her visuals, blending flowers in surreal atmospheres, are inspired by the magic of the wild. Her work combines timeless quality with a contemporary style, using luminous colors and dynamic forms to explore the unique essence of her subjects.
