Hannes Hummel
Neo Botanica. An Atlas of Artificially Generated Flora

Hannes Hummel (b. 1987) is a German interdisciplinary artist and designer, working
across new media (CGI and AI), web3, immersive audio-visual installations, and moving
images. His background in Integrated Design shapes his exploration of the intersection
between the organic and digital, reinterpreting natural complexity through symmetry,
tessellations, and patterns. His award-winning Living Still Lifes series reimagines historical
art movements through a digital lens. Hummel's work has been exhibited globally,
including at the Beijing Contemporary Art Expo, Deji Art Museum, and Contemporary
Calgary alongside Andy Warhol.
