HybridSpecies is a fine art project that continues the exploration of digital florathrough speculative botanical art. It is part of an ongoing fine art seriesthat began in 2020 with Artificial Bloom, where 3D programs and naturalpatterns played a central role in the creative process. This artwork series isthe first to utilize AI in the creation process to push the boundaries ofdigital botanical artistry, featuring 80 intricately crafted floral designs. Drawing inspiration from a wide variety of real-world species, flowers, fruits,and other botanical elements are blended into hyperrealistic hybrids that feelboth familiar and otherworldly.

Flowers have always been at the core of this series, serving as the primary canvas.Each design reflects my curiosity about nature and the symbolic meanings offlowers across different cultures and throughout history. It's a multilayeredconnection that intertwines aesthetics, symbolism, emotion, and historicalcontext.

ArtificialFlorilegia is a series of works inspired by Flemish still-life oil paintings.The "living still lifes" capture the profusion of accurate flowerdepictions; each element of the intricate flower bouquets is minutely arrangedand precisely crafted using state-of-the-art technologies. However, despitetheir captured beauty, the flowers will inevitably begin to wilt and brown,serving as a poignant reminder of the transience of all things.

These cybernetic organismsestablish a symbiotic bondwith their environment, utilizing artificialelectronic components toattain an enhanced functionality that supportsnourishment, growthframeworks, and novel defense mechanisms.

The Lumincometa breed is known for its extraordinary ability to emitbursts of green luminescent spores, a spectacle designed to allure aunique species of comet moths, its primary prey. These spores arereleased in sync with the lunarcycle, maximizing visibility againstthe night sky to ensure the moth's attraction. This fascinatingadaptation not only highlights the Lumincometa's predatory efficiencybut also underscores the complex interdependencies withinitsecosystem.
