Tatsuru Arai is a Berlin-based composer, sound and graphic programmer, and the creator of Gesamtkunstwerk. In his artistic practice, Arai integrates classical music with cutting-edge technology to present the fundamental physical nature of the universe as a perceptual experience.

Arai has studied 600 years of music history to extract “geometric structures” as fundamental elements of music. Through the method he calls “Trans-Ages Music”, he reconstructs these elements into a “meta-style,” preserving temperaments while maximising contrast and dramaturgy.
