Neo Botanica. An Atlas of Artificially Generated Flora

Stephan Duquesnoy (b. 1983) is a Dutch artist with over 15 years of experience exploring the intersection of art, design, and storytelling. His journey began as a concept artist for games and films, where he developed a keen eye for detail and a love for visual narratives. Alongside his industry work, Stephan shared his expertise as a lecturer at the University of the Arts Utrecht (HKU) in the Games and Design faculty. Here, he guided students in understanding the beauty and depth of visual design and visual narrative.In recent years Stephan co-founded the Bloom Collective, a group of digital artists embracing the fine art world, exploring how digital tools can create works that feel both human and deeply personal.


He also continues to work as a botanical artist in the entertainment and motion graphics industry, where his fascination with natural forms finds new life. In 2020, Stephan began sharing his personal work with the world. Since then, his art has been exhibited in numerous shows and publications worldwide, reflecting a quiet exploration of calm and beauty within the natural world around us.
