Botanical Futurism

Andréa Philippon’s work rejects the traditional dichotomy between humans and nature, instead embracing nature as an integral aspect of culture, rich with symbolic meaning across time and societies. His practice envisions a future where nature and human creations coexist harmoniously, prompting reflections on sustainability and humanity's responsibility to preserve ecosystems. Central to his work are themes of nature reclaiming urban spaces, its ecological importance, and its profound cultural significance.

For the Load exhibition, Andréa brought together three distinct projects under the theme of nature as a mystical, magnificent, and resilient force. Surreal digital plants animate the space, encouraging a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Andréa’s 3D artworks combine digital proceduralism, photography, photogrammetry, and digital painting. Many pieces are crafted as seamless loops, inviting prolonged contemplation and enhancing the meditative qualities of his creations.
