Delphine Diallo

“My work explores the power of images to shape consciousness, identity, and collective memory. Working across photography, collage, moving image, and artificial intelligence, I investigate how visual language constructs the narratives through which we understand ourselves and the world.”

Delphine Diallo is a Franco-Senegalese visual artist based in New York whose work explores the power of images to shape perception, identity, and collective memory. Working across photography, collage, moving image, and artificial intelligence, she investigates how visual language influences the stories individuals and societies tell about themselves..

Rooted in more than fifteen years of photographic practice, Diallo uses the image as a tool for inquiry, transformation, and remembrance. Her work draws from visual literacy, mythology, ancestral knowledge, and lived experience, creating worlds where past, present, and future coexist.

Across long-term projects such as RE·MEM·BRA, Earth Oracle, and Motherverse, she develops original visual cosmologies that examine consciousness, imagination, and humanity’s evolving relationship with technology. Through portraiture, speculative storytelling, and worldbuilding, Diallo creates images that invite viewers to question inherited narratives and expand their perception of what is possible.

Her practice moves beyond representation toward the construction of new visual frameworks, spaces where memory, creativity, and collective imagination become active forces in shaping reality.
