Morphogenesis, a series by X New Worlds, stems from her fascination with the tension between fragmentation and unity, the ways technology can distort or enhance the human form, and the surreal potential of digital bodies in constant transformation.

For the artist, movement becomes a metaphor for identity—imagined people multiply and merge, echoing across fictional timelines. This repetition and transformation allude to the many lives we live: the paths we follow, those we leave behind, and those that continue quietly, unrealised, yet still somehow part of us.

Using AI, the artist renders liminal states—moments between decisions, between selves—where form is unfixed, presence becomes plural, and identity is not a singular narrative, but a choreography of possibility.
