Stella Particula

Pablo Lamouroux / Stella Particula (“Star Dust” in latin) is a director and freelance motion designer based in France.

He obtained his master’s degree in art direction at the Gobelins school in Paris (2014) and started using Stella Particula as an anonymous character in 2021, to explore new mediums of creation with - at the beginning - a focus on analog glitch techniques and 3D digital animation.

As a video artist, his work reflect on the landscapes of duality: emotions / insensitivity, consciousness / unconsciousness, materiality / intangibility. Through the use of various techniques (3D, analog glitch and hardware, AI), he bridges the frontiers between past and new technologies as a way to open a dialog reflecting on our own personal evolution.

With time, the project evolved from an almost daily creation routine to a more narrative driven project, where myths of present, past and future, and stories of the self-consciousness, merge into creations that try to reflect on our everyday psyche.
