“Our work transforms architectural and exhibition spaces into immersive, sensorial environments, where image and sound unfold slowly, inviting contemplation rather than narration. Each piece is conceived as a research-driven process, where technology becomes a tool to reveal intuitive, emotional, and often intangible states.”

  1. Desilence is a visual art studio founded in 2005 by Tatiana Halbach (Spain) and Søren Christensen (Denmark). Operating at the intersection of digital art, installation, and moving image, their practice investigates how light, colour, motion, and spatial composition shape perception and emotional experience.

  2. Exploring the limits of real-time motion graphics, their projects span installations, immersive environments, live visual performances, stage scenography, and audiovisual works, presented in cultural institutions, galleries, and international festivals.

  3. Over the past two decades, Desilence has developed a distinctive visual language rooted in abstract digital painting. They approaches video as a painterly medium, translating texture into moving images and treating time, light, and colour as compositional elements.

  4. Early adopters of visual scenography in theatre, Desilence challenged the idea that a stage could be built entirely through video, collaborating with numerous theatres and helping shift perceptions. The duo even developed their own custom tracking software for performers.

  5. Desilence has presented its work at international music and arts festivals and collaborated with musicians and bands, including Suzanne Ciani, Franz Ferdinand, John Talabot, Lena Willikens, Vladimir Ivković, Siriusmo, TIEMEI, Lucía Fumero, Dorian, I Am Dive, Golden Bug, and Spekki Webu.
